- 4 tbsp fresh lime juice 59 ml fresh lime juice
- 1 ripe, medium tomato, seeded and diced 1 ripe, medium tomato, seeded and diced

- 1/2 cup sweet white onion (minced) 120 ml sweet white onion (minced)
- 1/4 cup coriander leaves (finely chopped) 60 ml coriander leaves (finely chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Cut
the avocado in large chunks, place in a bowl and mash with a fork.
Add the remaining ingredients and blend gently, until you get a smooth mixture. You can make the sauce as smooth as you like, but it is ok if there are some small pieces of avocado left. Taste and adjust with more salt, pepper and lime juice, as desired.
Cook's notes
You can add hot pepper sauce (for example Tabasco) to make this appetizer hotter.
