Spaghetti with lemon sauce

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese (or to taste) 120 ml finely grated Parmesan cheese (or to taste)

- 1 lb spaghetti (linguini or similar pasta) 455 g spaghetti (linguini or similar pasta)
- 6 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley 89 ml finely chopped fresh parsley
- Extra Parmesan cheese Extra Parmesan cheese
Method
Cook the spaghetti
Cook spaghetti in lots of boiling salted water, al dente, according to instructions on the packaging. Drain and return to pot.
Prepare the lemon sauce
While the pasta is cooking put the lemon juice, olive oil, Parmesan cheese and salt in a bowl and mix well.
Pour the lemon sauce over the cooked and drained spaghetti and toss until the pasta is well coated.
Rub the crushed garlic on the bottom of each serving dish and discard. Serve the pasta topped with parsley and extra Parmesan cheese.

Prepare the lemon sauce
While the pasta is cooking put the lemon juice, olive oil, Parmesan cheese and salt in a bowl and mix well.
Pour the lemon sauce over the cooked and drained spaghetti and toss until the pasta is well coated.
Rub the crushed garlic on the bottom of each serving dish and discard. Serve the pasta topped with parsley and extra Parmesan cheese.
