Tiramisu affogato (non alcoholic Tiramisu) recipe

A great, easy and extremely fast to make Tiramisu, requires no cooking at all. All you need to do is beat some heavy cream and brew some Espresso coffee. The assembly of the Tiramisu takes only a few minutes. This Tiramisu recipe contains no alcohol. If you want to add more coffee flavor to the desert, you can top the ice cream with a splash of Kahlua or any other coffee liquer. Tiramisu affogato is one of the quickest, tastiest Tiramisu recipes yet.

Ingredients

1 Tbsp sugar
4 cups vanilla ice cream

1 cup chilled heavy cream
9 savoiardi (Italian ladyfingers), coarsely crumbled
1 1/4 cups freshly made Espresso coffee

Grated bittersweet chocolate for topping

Directions

In a bowl add the cream and sugar and beat using an electric mixer until stiff peaks are formed.

Divide the vanilla ice cream among 4 or 6 glasses and top with the crumbled ladyfingers. Pour the hot espresso on top of the ladyfingers and top with the whipped cream. Finish with grated dark chocolate on top.

Serve immediately.

Notes and tips

This recipe is non-alcoholic. If you do not mind some alcohol, add a splash of Kahlua liquer (about a tablespoon) on top of the vanilla ice cream, then continue with the rest of the ingredients.
