Giving extra flavor to the chicken To give your roast chicken extra flavor, brine it for 2 to 3 hours. To create the brine add a cup of coarse salt and a cup of sugar into a container filled with cold water.
Removing garlic odor from your hands

Storing and freezing fresh herbs Store fresh herbs like oregano, sage, thyme and rosemary, in plastic bags in the refrigerator. For maximum flavor, freeze herbs - start by freezing entire branches of the herbs on cookie sheets, then removing the leaves and freezing them in plastic bags.
Cleaning food-stained pans, pots and containers To clean food-stained pans, pots, containers or similar, fill them with vinegar and let stand for 30 minutes. Discard vinegar and rinse with hot, soapy water.
Cleaning stainless steel items with vinegar Wipe stainless steel objects with a cloth dipped in vinegar. This will help remove tough to clean stains.
Cleaning brass and copper with vinegar For a clean, shiny finish of brass and copper objects clean them with a mixture of 1 cup of distilled vinegar and 1 teaspoon of salt. Dip a piece of cloth into the mixture and rub objects until clean and shiny.
