Cafe con leche recipe

A typical Mexican style coffee, usually served with breakfast. Main ingredients are milk and cinnamon.
Preparation time: 5 minutes, Cooking time: 5 minutes, Serves: 4 

Ingredients

2 cups milk
2/3 cups freshly ground coffee
2 cups water, boiling
4 cinnamon sticks
Sugar, to taste

Directions

Put the coffee grounds in the bottom of coffee press and add the boiling water. Wait for 5 minutes, or until the coffee grounds sit at the bottom of the press. Press down to strain the coffee grounds from the coffee liquid. Pour the coffee liquid into an empty jar or pitcher.

In a medium saucepan over medium to high heat add the milk and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Using a slotted spoon remove the cinnamon sticks and save them for serving. Add the coffee to the milk, stir well and serve into cups. Add a cinnamon stick to each of the cups and add sugar as needed.
