Margarita recipe This is the traditional recipe for the famous Mexican drink Margarita. Traditional Margarita is not served "frozen", as many of us know, but with a bit of crushed ice.

Ingredients 12 Tbsp tequila 6 Tbsp triple sec 6 Tbsp fresh lime juice Lime zest, grated (optional) Crushed ice 4 Lime wedges Salt Directions Combine the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, lime zest (if desired) and crushed ice in a shaker and shake well.
To salt the glasses, wet the rim of each glass by rubbing it with a lime
wedge and then dip the rim into a plate that contains Kosher salt (coarse ground salt).
Pour into margarita glasses and garnish with the lime wedges.
