Aniseed vinaigrette recipe

Ingredients
1 shallot, or red onion, roughly chopped
2 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp aniseed
1 tsp green peppercorns
1 Tbsp white wine vinegar
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
Directions
Place the first four ingredients (shallot or red onion, garlic, green peppercorns, and aniseed) in a blender
and process on medium speed for a few seconds until the ingredients are minced. Add
the vinegar and process a bit more. With the blender running, start pouring in the olive oil and keep blending until the mixture is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
The above ingredients make about 1/2 cup of dressing.
