Homemade vinegar and salt pickles recipe

Easy homemade pickles with vinegar and salt. No sugar or herbs are used in this recipe.

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb cucumbers, sliced along the length

1 qt. white vinegar
1/2 qt. water
1/2 c. course salt

Directions

Place the sliced cucumbers in one or more jars.

In a pot over high heat add the water and white wine vinegar. Bring to a boil and pour over the cucumbers until completely covered. Seal the jars and let sit for at least 7 days before using.
