Dim Sum recipe

A great Chinese appetizer, dim sum is a mixture of minced prawns, green onions and other spices spread on toast and baked in the oven.
Preparation time: 10 minutes, Cooking time: 5 minutes, Serves: 4 

Ingredients

For the filling
1 cup prawns
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 green onion
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 inch piece of ginger root
1 egg white
1 tsp black bean sauce

For the dim sum
8 toasts (about 2x2 inch)
8 whole prawns

Directions

Put all the filling ingredients in a food processor and process until finely chopped and blended. Spread about 1/8th of the mixture onto 2x2 (or similar) inch toasts. Place a whole prawn in the middle of each toast and bake in the oven for 5-6 minutes. Serve hot.
