Waborita is a drink that was invented by Sammy Hagar, served at his restaurant and club in Cabo San Lukas.

2 oz premium tequila (Cabo Wabo if possible)
2 oz fresh lime juice
2 oz Cointreau
Kosher salt (optional for rim of glass)


In a shaker add the tequila, lime juice and cointreau and shake well. Rub the rim of a cocktail glass with a lime wedge, place the rim of the glass on a plate containing kosher salt and gently tap it to get rid of excess salt. Add the ice, then pour over the cocktail, garnish with a lime wedge and serve.
