Basic vinaigrette dressing recipe

The basic recipe for a vinaigrette sauce, perfect for salads and boiled or steamed vegetables.
Preparation time: 5 minutes, Cooking time: 1 minutes, Serves: 0 


1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp mustard powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder or 1/3 clove garlic, minced
Dash of cayenne pepper
Salt to taste


Add all ingredients in a bottle, secure lid and shake vigorously.

Chill for several hours before serving.
