Hot coriander and chili salad dressing recipe

A salad dressing based on coriander (cilantro), sour cream and chili peppers, ideal for Mexican salads, vegetables or even as a dip with nachos or together with fajitas, chimichangas, burritos and similar. You can adjust the amount of chili peppers and hot pepper sauce used in the recipe to make the dressing as hot or as mild as you want to.
Preparation time: 5 minutes, Cooking time: 1 minutes, Serves: 0 

Ingredients

1 green chili, seeded and then finely chopped
1/4 cup fresh coriander (cilantro)
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp honey
A few drops of hot pepper sauce, to taste (use Tabasco or similar)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions

Add all ingredients in a food processor or blender, cover and process at high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Pour salad dressing into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and refigerate for at least 2 hours. This will allow the flavors to develop.
Refrigerated any left over dressing for up to 3 days.

This recipe will make about 1 1/4 cups of dressing.
